Whit has been practicing law locally for over 40 years, primarily focusing on commercial real estate, including purchases and sales. leases and exchanges, as well as business law, including acquisitions and entity formations. He has been awarded an AV Preeminent Rating through Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review. He is licensed through the Oregon State Bar and the State Bar of California.

Originally from Northern California. Whit and his wife, Julie, moved to the Eugene area in 1981 and raised two daughters. He enjoys hiking, fly-fishing, trying to hit a golf ball straight, and spending time with his family, including his two granddaughters.
